Why use a non-yellowing floor finish on hard wood floors ?

Using a non-yellowing floor finish on your hard wood will keep the discolouration that occurs due to exposure to UV radiation. What might happen if you do not use a non-yellowing floor finish is this - areas under carpets, furniture, etc., may not get exposed to a source of light for extended periods of time, and this may cause a discolouration in your hardwood floor. 
 
What are non-yellowing floor finishes for hardwood ?

Water based Urethane provides a clear, non-yellowing finish. What's more - it produces fewer odours, dries quickly and may be cleaned with soap and water. 

Using crosslinkers provided by some manufacturers as additives, the durability and hardness may be improved. Please refer to manufacturers instructions for details.
